The Modular Scalable Platform enables 800-volt charging technology, achieving a 200 km range after five minutes and an 80% charge in 15 minutes. Launched in various markets, including Thailand and the Philippines, it combines advanced technology with a global design approach.

MG5 EV

No : 3 Tata Altroz EV:

The Tata Altroz EV, expected to launch in India by January 2023, is priced between Rs. 12.00 Lakh – Rs. 15.00 Lakh. It features a 127.2bhp electric AC motor with a 30.2kWh battery, offering a range of 250-300kms. Similar to the Tata Nexon EV and Tigor EV, it boasts a digitally inspired lower grille, dual ultra-slim headlamps, and a modern interior with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Tata claims an 80% charge can be achieved in one hour.

Tata Altroz EV

No : 4 Jeep Avenger EV:

Expected in India in 2023, the Jeep Avenger, initially in ICE form, precedes its electric version slated for 2025. Drawing design elements from the Compass SUV, it features a boxy grille, honeycomb mesh-patterned bumper, and multi-spoke alloy wheels. The interior boasts premium black upholstery, a floating touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, split-folding rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and automatic climate control. While mechanical details are pending, the electric version aims for a 400km driving range.

Jeep Avenger

The Mahindra BE.05, Mahindra’s first dedicated EV under the new BE brand, is a compact SUV set to rival the Tata Avinya. Expected by October 2025, it features a driver-centric cabin, INGLO platform, and offers 60kWh or 80kWh battery packs for a WLTP-rated range of up to 450 kilometers. Mahindra’s EV lineup will incorporate components from the VW MEB platform.

As for the Jeep Avenger, a compact SUV anticipated for an April 2024 launch in India, it’s expected to be priced between ₹8.00 – ₹12.00 Lakh. Competing with models like Mahindra Bolero, Bolero Neo, and Renault Kiger, the Avenger aims to make its mark with a compact design and a slated launch in April 2024.
